| Setting Up A Web Site: Things To Do |
|
| These are some of the things you should consider doing prior to, while, and after setting up a web site for your business. |
- Get a Domain Name
- One of the first things you need to do prior to setting up a web site, is to get a good domain name for it. If the name of your business is unusual, there is a possibility that the name has not already been registered by someone else. You can use a "WhoIs" query to find out whether or not a specific name has already been taken.
More likely, it will take a little more effort to find an available domain name. See the primer on Getting a Domain Name for some help.
